Parjana is a powerful new technology & approach to managing stormwater, standing water, and ground water. Utilizing energy from the earth Parjana's system promotes high volume water infiltration.

What is Parjana EGRP®?

An EGRP® is a unique five chamber 1 1/4" tube varying in length from 5’ - 40’. They are capped at the top, and installed 2 feet to 4 feet below the surface. Systems are designed for each application utilizing a series of EGRPs.

What does EGRP® do?

Each EGRP can move up to 150 gallons of water per hour. By harnessing energy from the earth, EGRPs push and pull underground water horizontally, giving water more volume underground and creating a siphoning effect preventing surface water from ever accumulating. This way in a given area far more water is absorbed into the earth. Once water is in the ground the system continues to promote movement allowing the natural filtration process to begin. This filtration continues over time as water moves deeper into the ground eventually replenishing aquifers, lakes, rivers, streams and wetlands. Designed systems quickly and efficiently mitigate large volumes of water while equalizing hydro-static pressure and moisture levels providing powerful sustainable solutions to a wide variety of difficult water issues.

What are the benefits of EGRP®?

In water saturated areas: Athletic fields, parks and farmland become continuously usable and vegetation grows stronger as water will not accumulate anymore on the surface during the rainy season, and moisture will travel to the roots during the dry season.For foundations and underground equipment: EGRPs significantly reduce and stabilize hydrostatic pressure against any underground construction. It waterproofs foundations, pillars, manholes, and extends the lifespan of roads, airfields, and parking lots. EGRP systems mitigate storm water runoff by allowing water to be absorbed into the ground. This greatly reducing stress on overburdened storm water drainage systems while protecting our rivers, lakes, seas, & wetlands.

How is EGRP® Installed?

Installation is minimally invasive. No digging up ground or cutting into foundations is needed. First a series of holes are bored with a Parjana drilling rig to the appropriate depth in the Vadose Zone. Then one EGRP of the appropriate length is put in each hole. The hole is then closed and after period 12 weeks or more the entire EGRP system is fully activated.

Private-sector individuals, farmers, companies, sports organizations, governments, municipalities, and schools who need perfectly drained yards, fields, sports fields, parks and golf courses.
Airports: Mitigating standing water eliminates habitats for ducks and geese which significantly reduces bird collisions with aircraft. At the same time the system can be used to extend life of concrete surfaces by keeping excess water from going under or over runways and taxiways. Underground infrastructure such as cable boxes or lines can be protected.
