Bayview library is one prime example of a community library that is well structured and staffed- I have been in this area for just over a year now and have observed the following;
1> staff are friendly, well spoken and knowledgable
2> the atmosphere is always open and welcoming
3> the services offered are exemplary and efficient
4> the internet services are open to the public and helpful to both learners and
school leavers/ job seekers.
5> overall the library is well run, well kept and greatly appreciated by those that
value this kind of service delivery in this day and age
6> on occasion i have seen holiday kiddies programs being run and social events
also taking place with great participation from both librarians and community
members as well as othe rinterested bodies for the public at large.
i would personally like to thank all members of the library staff and the council for this kind of super service to our community and i hope that such a service is available to all communities across our land so that all people can learn, read and achieve more from their own libraries.
