The hummus wars in Israel are real. Many hummuseries claim to have the best version of the dish, but that award may very well belong to Hummus Said in Akko's historic Old Quarter Shuk. In business for over 25 year, the hummus at the renowned eatery is of the highest quality- the oil used even pressed on site. Hummus with pita is the menu but one that will certainly fuel your journey back in time through the historic quarter now a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.
