Constructed between 1846 and 1871 building originally served as a tenement house. Building shows signs of recent renovations. Ground floor features a coffee bar called the The Bean while the top floor feature is a boutique hotel called the East Village Hotel. The Bean sell coffee made from organic products. Farms are located in Dominica and a portion of profits are allocated to community development.
