This delightful small nature reserve, situated in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg is well worth a visit on one of its open days. The reserve consists of 22ha of rocky outcrops, dense bush, open grassland and some small dams that abound with birdlife. There is a well marked nature trail that takes in the many aspects of the reserve that make it such a special place. For its size the reserve has a wide variety of wildlife including Blesbok, Duiker, Ostrich and a large population of Dassies.
The reserve is open over the second weekend of every month, Saturday 14h00-17h00 and Sunday 08h00-11h00. Parking is available at the gate.
