高雄區農業改良場

本場創設於民國前9年，日據時代名為「高雄州農事試驗場」，民國34年光復後改名為「高雄區農林改良場」，49年更名為「台灣省高雄區農業改良場」，隸屬台灣省政府。88年7月精省後改隸行政院農業委員會，名稱為「行政院農業委員會高雄區農業改良場」。由於原址位處屏東市，土地面積狹小，且周遭大樓林立，不利長期農業試驗研究，故於90年辦理遷場計劃，95年10月完成遷場，新場址在屏東縣長治鄉。
