Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Certified Silver Building The Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) designation is an internationally recognized green building certification that independently verifies that a building or community was designed and built using strategies aimed at improving performance across all the metrics that matter most: energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality and stewardship of resources and sensitivity to their impacts.
Designated through the Florida Green Lodging Program, a voluntary initiative of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) that designates and recognizes lodging facilities that make a commitment to conserve and protect Florida’s natural resources.

The hotel features environmental friendly design and construction utilizing alternative energy sources to limit consumption of energy and water. The hotel’s water is heated by solar energy. Hotel guests can contribute to the hotel’s sustainability efforts by participating in their in-room recycling and linen reduction programs. The hotel’s design features large windows and natural lighting elements and native landscaping. Guests can make use of the electric vehicle charging stations and are offered reserved parking for electric vehicles.
