中州寮保安宮 Jhong Jhou Liao Boa An Temple

本廟創立於清光緒元年，為中州寮地區的信仰中心，主神信奉保生大帝，來自學甲慈濟宮。配神祭拜中壇元帥、呂山童、清水祖師、虎爺、宋江爺、土地公及註生娘娘。保安宮初建時為簡陋茅房，日據時代大正十二年（民國十二年），改建為磚造，民國五十八年第三度改建完成，即今廟貌。
在保生大帝聖誕，農曆三月十五日大清早，保安宮即組團回學甲祖廟慈濟宮謁祖。保安宮設有管理委員會，委員共有十七人，設有主任委員一人，管理委員會每三年改選一次。

This temple was constructed in the first year of the Qing dynasty. It is the Jhong Jhou Liao area’s faith center. The temple primarily worships the God of medicine, the Great Emperor Paosheng. It came from Cih Ji temple in the Xuejia township. The temple also worships other gods such as the Goddess of birth.
Initially, the temple was only a simple thatch house. During 1923, it was reconstructed by bricks. The current appearance of the temple was formed during the third time reconstruction in 1969.
Every March 15th of the lunar month, people celebrate the birthday of the Great Emperor Paosheng. A pilgrimage team will be formed by the management committee and sent the God back to the Cih Ji temple. A total of 17 people are on the management committee. The chairperson and the committee’s election are held every three years.
