History of this Location

This farm is located in the foothills of the Bocaina Mountain Range. It was first known as "three farms?" because it consisted of three parts: the upper house for the farm owner and his family, the middle house for the slaves, and the lower house as a trading post. The owner, Angelita Alves, lives on site. There is a restaurant, hiking, horseback riding, a ropes course, waterfalls, and museum at this location.

Sustainable Features

This business recycles paper products, hires local people, and serves local foods. The museum records the history and culture of Paraty.
