The Cutler Botanic Garden is open every day from dawn until dusk, and is available for weddings and group tours by appointment. Cutler Botanic Garden is a center for teaching about horticulture and environmental issues. In addition to offering a beautiful floral display in a peaceful setting, the garden includes a heritage vegetable garden and an herb garden.

Cutler Botanic Gardens encourages an appreciation of the environment and helps teach the value of natural resources through educational activities. A prime purpose is to help individuals teach themselves to grow annual and perennial plants with minimal negative effect on the environment.

The Cutler Botanic Garden is operated by the Cornell University Cooperative.
