Kaufman Lake Boathouse
Overview
"Kaufman Lake offers outdoor fun for individuals and families. Picnic tables are located around the lake, and a variety of activities are scheduled throughout the year. Individuals or families can enjoy a hike or bike ride around the Lake or adjacent recreational trail. Swimming is not allowed at any time. During the winter months activities at the Lake include ice skating and cross country skiing. The Kaufman Lake fire ring is available for group or family gatherings. Reservations must be made a minimum of five business days in advance. Personal canoes and kayaks may be used on Champaign Park District lakes as long as they are registered with the Illinois Department of Conservation."
