The August A. Busch Memorial Conservation Area, commonly called Busch Wildlife, is located just west of St. Louis in St. Charles County. The area consists of 6,987 acres of wildlife conservation. Features for public use include hiking and biking trails, an archery range, multiple lakes for swimming or fishing, hunting and trapping grounds, as well as many wildlife viewing areas. The reserve contains native prairies, wetlands, and forests, and is an excellent resource for learning about Missouri's native habitat. The Missouri Department of Conservation offers multiple classes ranging from archery, night hikes, hunting, native plant identification, and more.
