This park is a Natural Heritage Site which protects the largest known population of White Stinkwood in
South Africa. The rare Natal Loquat tree is also present. The
Spotted Thrush, which can be easily viewed in winter is also of interest.

Driving Directions: Take the N3 west from the Durban CBD towards Westville. Just before leaving the city, take the Ridge Road off-ramp and turn left into Mazisi Kunene Road (South Ridge Road). Travel along this road and turn left into Mazisi Kunene Avenue (King George Avenue) at the bottom of the hill. Continue for about 500m and then turn right into Princess Alice Avenue. The park is located on your right.
