Built in 1892. Famous for its long-running San Gennaro Festival. The festival begins at the church honoring San Gennaro. What is not as commonly known is that it is also a celebration of Janarius, patron saint of Naples, who is credited with protecting the Neapolitans from the plague of 1947 and eruptions of Mt. Vesuvius.
