The founders of this organization have been involved in the Ithaca community since the early 70s and are committed to the region's citizens and environment. They grow a variety of dry beans, grains and flours in a pledge to provide healthy food to the community and certified organic feed for livestock. They do not use pesticides, artificial fertilizers and GMO, and partice sustainable farming through no-till farming experiments, bio-diesel and other energy alternatives, proper crop rotation, experiments to sustainably build the health of the soil.
Tours of the farm are available and the Brookton B&B is a nice place to stay.
