Vue d'ensemble
Face au Val Ferret italien, on voit à notre droite une vallée glaciaire arrondie (forme en U) bordée par des moraines latérales (dépôts de cailloux par le glacier) composées de matériaux glaciaires : du till. A gauche, en amont, il y a un ancien cirque glaciaire en U (zone avec les cailloux) et en aval une vallée en V formée de flyschs érodés (roche sédimentaire formée par une avalanche sous-marine dans l'ancien océan valaisan).
