지리산 ‘히어리’

학명 : Corylopsis gotoana var. coreana
(상세 설명)
히어리는 지리산일대와 전라남도 및 중부지방에서 자라는 낙엽 관목이다. 생육환경은 비탈진 곳의 물 빠짐이 좋은 곳에서 자란다. 키는 2~4m 정도이고, 잎은 심장형으로 길이가 5~10㎝이며, 가장자리에 물결 모양의 뾰족한 톱니가 있고 꽃이 핀 후 잎이 나온다. 꽃은 노란색이고 꽃잎이 5장 달리고 아래로 향해 달린다. 열매는 9월경 둥글게 달리고 안에는 검은색 종자가 들어 있다. 주로 관상용으로 쓰인다.
