Margarita Island

Vue d'ensemble
Coney Island's only late night, outdoor hot spot is Margarita Island where the drinks are deliciously strong and the music stays pumping until the party stops. Margarita Island is owned by Carlo Muraco who teamed up with a Manhattan restauranteur, Louis Santanelli to open Margarita Island. Their mission is to have a home in Coney Island, provide the highest level of customer satisfaction and become known as a destination instead of just Coney Island traffic.
Margarita Island is known for their variety of beats, especially reggae, good company and enticing drinks. There is a full bar indoors with TVs and Tiki bar with D.J. station outdoors. If you arrive early, you will be able to party all night long. Once Margarita Island reaches its capacity, they close the gate and do not let anyone else in. The party becomes exclusive and reaches the next level of fun. Come enjoy the bright-colored frozen margaritas, among other drinks and dance to the rhythms of the music. Ruby’s Bar & Grill, Peggy O’Neil and Place to Beach bar are the popular, over-crowded destinations to visit in Coney Island, while Margarita Island is a lesser-known destination hidden gem with population control and is a highly recommended venue to visit, especially on Friday firework nights.
