Haller Park
Vue d'ensemble
Haller Park is a nature park in Bamburi, Mombasa, it was a quarry wasteland and got transformed into an ego-friend animal preserve. Haller Park holds also beside animal a variety of plant species which makes it a tourist and local hot spot. Up to March 2007 (after the tsunami) it held the famous attraction of Owen and Mzee- the friendship of a hippopotamus and a tortoise.
