There is also an open family day in early May when the cattle is let out to graze, with an organic farmer's market and other happenings. In September there is another family day with various program. The farm offers guided tours to school classes and private groups throughout the whole year by appointment.

An interesting historical farm where they strive to become more environmentally friendly and also better at animal welfare. The open family days are well organized and popular among both adults and children. Make sure to combine a visit to the farm with a visit to Norsk Folkemuseum close by!
