GLUT Food Co-op

Overview

The Glut Co-op located in Mt. Rainier, MD, provides quality vegetarian foods that are organic and locally grown. Some of the items they provide include cheese, grains, beans, nuts, seeds, dried fruit, baking supplies, granola, coffee, herbs and spices, pasta and much more. Apart from food, they also offer health and beauty products including food supplements and vitamins. The Co-op is open Tuesday to Friday from 9am to 8pm and Saturday to Monday from 9am to 7pm. GLUT is a non-profit trust that offers locally grown produce at a reasonable price. The food does not travel far distances, thus both economic and environmental impacts can be reduced by purchasing food items from the Co-op.
