Trevithick Planting (Campus indigenous Wildflower initiative) by Davius Nursery
Vue d'ensemble
An initiative to encourage all University campuses to engage in indigenous wildflower planting. As Universities occupy a great deal of space - an opportunity exists to encourage greater biodiversity support.
The Davius Nursery works to produce various indigenous species of Wildflowers such as; greater knapweed, cowslip, ragged robin, foxglove, teasels and other beneficial plantlife that are an excellent resource for bees, ladybirds, dragonfly, birds. By increasing the amount of indigenous wildflowers across the country (urban and rural) we can support biodiversity and reverse the decline of many important species that are threatened with population decimation / possibly becoming endangered.
