Welsh Boxes has been successfully manufacturing and supplying packaging consumables to major industrial companies across South Wales since it first started up in Swansea over 70 years ago. The company has attained Green Dragon Environmental Award Level 2 and has undertaken several measures to reduce its energy and water consumption, improve its waste management and landscape its site. Energy champions have been appointed, energy efficient lighting and automatic light sensors have been installed, and recycling bins for various materials are in use.
Welsh Boxes was shortlisted for a Business Centre Swansea Large Business Award, at the prestigious 2008 Sustainable Swansea Awards.
