I would LOVE this for the DC Metro area!
Cylburn Arboretum in Baltimore is great for globe exploration as I like to call it. The extremely beautiful garden variety makes it a prime spot for taking pictures. I'm a yearly visitor there myself! Best regards,
Are there bike racks available? It is safe to leave a bike parked?
This regional green map of Baltimore was really useful and I can see that it has much developed over time. I found some amazing new places I had never even heard before, like the grassroots culture space 2640. Thank you for all the developers on this project!
i like it!
Best customer service from the Reedbird Road Sanitation Yard. Very organized and helpfule especially a young men named Robert.
Thank You Very Much with the help of my broken down TV.
Wonderful, convenient farmers market for busy Hopkins students, faculty, and staff!
Great source of fresh local produce! Also a great way for Hopkins students to be a part of the Waverly community.
There is security, but the patrol is once in a blue and not on foot. They drive around in their vehicle. Just be vigilant; the parking lot is dark and open. Remember to lock your car. Be mindful of your surroundings, especially after dark.
A nice spot for a walk in Charles Village.
The saying once attributed to GM may now hold for China, at least when it comes to transforming transportation. What’s good for China may be good for the world.
To me, Avalon Bakery represents the very heart of an evolving & sustainable Detroit. Formed with community & ecological awareness, this is a place where people meet and are nurtured. Great smells waft from the baked goods made with organic flours, healthy soups, the fair trade coffee...and much more... in a charming old store front setting in walking distance of Wayne State Campus, the Art, Historical & African American Museums....
This is total bullshit. We never used umbrellas in the building because of the leaky roof. It was named Umbrella House because we planned to form an Umbrella organization for all the squats in the Lower East Side at that time. That fell flat on its ass when the inhabitants of Umbrella House ended up in an internal power struggle - and if you can't unite a building, how can you unite a neighborhood?
there was time when it was difficult......
thats the best....

Understanding your grudge because being not treated friendly, please still "Remember, we're talking about cheap metal folding chairs."
The comparison drawn is just beyond and tends to trivialise the dimension of atrocities during the "Third Reich". You seriously do not want to do that.

Thursday 10/03 The association is hosting a neighborhood meeting concerning the opening of a wholesale raw sushi business to be located at 216 West Squantum Street, I would like to thank the committee for this and alowing myself and my neighbors to voice a compliant against this. I have sent a e-mail to City Councilor Kevin Coughlin and would like to post this e-mail on this blog. Thank you very much for this opportunity and if you would like to send me a reply my address is vzepmg0c@verizon.net. Colum Flaherty, 210 West Squantum Street. Quincy
Good morning Councilor Coughlin, I have just walked to all my neighbors homes that a butt 216 West Squantum Street. We spoke about the proposed wholesale sushi business in our neighborhood. I can tell you that along with myself, I spoke with no one that wants this business here.
The major concern was the smell especially in the Summer. The noise from the refrigerated trucks and the presence of rodents. As this same location we put up with the strange people who entered the previous Tatoo shop. This included the incident one early morning when the Police were searching inside this shop with guns drawn looking for a dangerous felon. I have been around for a long time and heard many promises from business people only to see them broken.
There is a lot of difference between retail and wholesale business operations. My wife has been in the food service industry for 30 years and myself in trucking the same. We both know that this wholesale sushi business will not fit at 216 West Squantum Street.
As you stated in your notice that this area is not zoned for this type of industry and that it should stay this way.
This is a family neighborhood. We all enjoy using our back yards. I can tell you that the smell of rotten fish will change that. Please turn this request down and direct the owner to look for a location that is not in the middle of a neighborhood. I will see you tonight. Colum Flaherty, 210 West Squantum Street, Quincy , MA. 617 471 0840
I use to live on Ridgeway st as a chid(1960's) and I remember all those wonderful days of fishing for goldfish!
10 years from now, when the evil, rotten & sexually deranged forces serving their evil, rotten & sexually impotent New World Order masters swarm all over the area & surround SQ ((the 21st century version of The Alamo!)), the last, bloody stand will be made at Squantum Point Park. The final battle will be ferocious & bitter, fought with all sorts of weapons ((including kitchen utensils & back yard rakes!)), buying the rest of the rebel alliance just enough time to re-group, re-order, re-equip & launch this utterly fearsome, re-energized & sweeping counter-attack into the ranks of all besieging commie pricks & ruthless, hopelessly brainwashed mercs that thought they were ill, & totally invincible ((major delusions of grandeur???)). The good guys will prevail, & SQ Point Park will go down in history as this famous, Alamo like rallying point, this modern day, more savage Thermopylae type Battle, & this shining & blood drenched symbol for those who stood for truth, justice & the SQ way! TTrain!!!
SQ Point Park should be designated as the 8th Wonder of the World! Why??? Because it's SQ Point Park, that's why!!! :) :)
I grew up in Quincy and I do remember seeing the ski jump back in the early 1940's. Use to skate on St. Moritz Pond. I grew up on Furbace Brook Parkway.
