Muji ha fabricado un tejido ecológico de hilo reutilizado fabricado con hilos preteñidos sobrantes, que normalmente se suelen tirar. Al aprovechar el hilo de desecho, se evita un desperdicio innecesario al tiempo que se reducen considerablemente el consumo de energía y las emisiones contaminantes, ya que se elimina el reteñido en el proceso de producción.
