ECOs collective and social entrepreneurship lab

Overview

ECOs is a nice woking place to develop your collective and social project.

You'll find more than 20 social economy organizations: cooperatives, entreprises, nonprofit ... and also an ethical bank: FIARE, which operates in Spain as Banca Popolare Ética agency that create an ideal entrepreneur framework to accompany and develop your new collective and social projects.

"ECOs collective and social entrepreneurship Lab" is a physical space and a set of services aimed at social innovation and new entrepreneurial initiatives of social and solidarity economy creation. 900 square meters make room for 70 professionals from the social economy. A four professionals team accompanies the creation of new entrepreneurial projects of social and solidarity economy. A multipurpose room accommodates monthly events on social innovation field. Come to meet us!

ECOs collective and social entrepreneurship Lab is a project to ECOs Cooperative Group. It was created in September 2011 (after two working years) by 10 cooperatives, with the goal of being the referent of private services to the social and solidarity economy in Catalunya region. We pushed the desire to build social market, thereby contributing to the growth of social and solidarity economy as a movement for changing social ans economic structures.

All ECOs members are also members of Coop57 (the spanish leader Cooperative of Financial Ethical and Solidarity Services: in last six years it has funded more than 700 social projects worth over 20 million euros; it is actively involved in building a Financial Ethics European Cooperative) and members of XES (Solidarity Economic Network in Catalunya, formed by 60 organizations, cooperatives and non profit entities on that sector).
