New ecological habitat and public park
Overview
This is a site for a new park in Hillsborough. We propose converting an existing detention basin into a public park that does more than treat stormwater. Here, native plants help recharge groundwater while providing habitat for native bird species. A series of elevated paths will be installed, providing an immersive experience to those who engage the site.
