Lucio Costa space
Overview
Conceived by Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated in the early 1990's, this large underground room pays tribute to the creator of the city. The space holds a 560 square foot architectural model of Brasilia, created by architecture students of the University of Brasilia, as well as documents and images dating back the construction of the capital. The subtitles of the exhibiton are also in Braile language. Large wall panels display the Brasilia Pilot Plan report and thoughts by Costa while drwaing the first lines for the new city.
