Overview

Average: 4 (1 vote)

The Atlantic Terrace project involves the transformation of a former Brownfield into a newly constructed, 80-unit mixed-income, mixed-use home ownership project. It was designed by Magnusson Architecture and Planning and L.E.E.D Consultant, Veridian Energy and Environmental LLC. Atlantic Terrace is pursuing a L.E.E.D Gold Certification and will include a multitude of environmentally sustainable features, including a centrally powered heat pump and heat recapture system, Energy Star appliances, and low-flow bathroom and kitchen fixtures. The building will be constructed using green materials such as bamboo flooring and cabinets, low-VOC paint, and recycled glass and concrete countertops.
