Situated on the warm False Bay coast, Colona Castle is a comfortably elegant base from which to explore the interesting and beautiful Cape Peninsula and Winelands.

Be seduced by scenic grandeur: a panorama of majestic mountains, shimmering lakes, dazzling beaches and azure waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

Environmental initiatives include:
Grey water is separated and used to water the garden.
Kitchen waste water is stored and used to water garden.
All light bulbs have been replaced with energy saving lightbulbs. Outside lights have an automatic light sensor switch them on or off.
Kitchen refuse is separated and recycled where appropriate – green waste is used for composting.
Paper, newspapers, magazines and glass bottles are recycled.
Each Suite has a separate air-conditioning unit which is always switched off when not needed.
On registration we suggest to guests and visitors how to help us in our efforts to conserve energy (washing of bed linen, towels etc, water and electricity conservation, responsible tourism).
Environment-friendly products are used.
