Forest Refeaf of Missouri
Overview
Forest Releaf is a non-profit organization that promotes volunteer efforts to replant trees and keep Missouri's forests healthy.Their mission is “to provide trees for public and not-for-profit plantings and present educational programs to increase stewardship of the trees and forests in Missouri and surrounding regions" (www.moreleaf.org). Partnered with the Missouri Community Forestry Council and the Missouri Conservation Department, the organization works to promote awareness in both public and private land use, tree planting, and tree care. Forest Releaf offers educational programs to teach the public about forest health and increase awareness of the necessity of Forestry to the life of a community.
