Alva Library as well as being well stocked with books is a community Access Point, gives a wide range of council services including the Community Learning and Development Team and has the following facilities:
2 PCs, 1 scanner, black & white photocopier, A4 laminator, meeting room and internet access. Child friendly.
There is parking for the disabled and a recycling point for paper and glass.

Monday - 9.30am – 12.30pm;1.30pm – 4.30pm;5.00pm – 7.00pm *
Tuesday - 9.30am – 12.30pm;1.30pm – 4.30pm
Wednesday - 9.30am – 12.30pm;1.30pm – 4.30pm
Thursday -9.30am – 12.30pm;1.30pm – 4.30pm
Friday - 9.30am – 12.30pm;1.30pm – 4.30pm;5.00pm – 7.00pm *
Saturday - 9.30am – 12 noon
