What makes them sustainable: The Colorado Carbon Fund provides high quality carbon offsets to Coloradans as a way to support new energy efficiency and renewable energy projects to reduce carbon emissions in our state. The Governor's Energy Office created the Colorado Carbon Fund to meet the unique needs of our state and to position us to lead the New Energy Economy. Donations to the Colorado Carbon Fund help fund new clean energy projects that reduce carbon, with an emphasis on energy efficiency, renewable energy, and community-based initiatives.
