The Kindred Spirit Gift Shop & Green Gables Tea room
Overview
The Kindred Spirit Gift Shop and Green Gables Tea Room offer a unique variety of vintage and vintage-inspired gifts, accessories, and antiques. They include North Carolina-made pillows and lighthouse throws, handbags, and luggage by Isabella's Journey, tea wallets and cozies by Thistledown Cozies, children's tea sets, baby gifts, costume jewelry, local honey, flower fairies, vintage linens, local decoys, china, crystal, silver and more. The Green Gables Tea Room serves quality loose-leaf teas, delicious scones, Rowena's cakes and toppings, Mississippi Cheese Straws, and John Kelly Fudge. It offers a lovely setting for intimate gatherings and special events.
Hours of Operation vary each week, but are updated weekly on the answering machine.
It is owned and operated by Libby Liles and has been in operation for 10 years. The gift shop began in the back room in 2001 and was moved to the front of the building in 2004. The Tea Room was opened in the back of the building in 2007.
