The KZN Sharks Board is the only organization of its kind in the world, and actively supports and promotes the conservation of sharks. The Sharks Board encourages members of the public to visit their offices in Umhlanga Rocks to learn more about the important role of sharks in the marine ecosystem. The main attractions include the display hall with a variety of lifelike replicas of sharks, fish, and rays, the 20-minute audio-visual presentation and dissection, and the curio shop “Fathoms”.
