Ithaca Cemetery
Overview
Ithaca City Cemetery is a very large cemetery with many very old headstones that date back to the early 1800s. The Western Section of the cemetery is the oldest part. Beside being a place of memory and due to its age, this cemetery is an urban habitat within the city where plants and animals can thrive. There are many old trees there and it is a beautiful place to go walking and observe wildlife, with a nice view over the City of Ithaca.
