Overview

The Centaur Chute is a secondary channel that connects in two different places on the Missouri River. The size of the channel is limited based on the amount watershed and runoff. Channels have many different shapes, which can be tough to alter due to the balance between deposition and erosion. Vegetation and trees lining the banks of the channel will prevent high amounts of erosion and strengthen the banks.
