This is one of the largest museums of its kind in the world. This is the site where the legendary aircraft carrier USS Yorktown is anchored as well as other ships such as the destroyer USS Laffey, known as The Ship That Would Not Die, the Treasury class Coast Guard cutter Ingham and the Balao class submarine Clamagore.

This is also a great area for birding, best during fall migration (late August - early November).
