Swansea Canal Local Nature Reserve
Overview
Swansea Canal was officially designated as a Local Nature Reserve in 1983 in recognition of its value for biodiversity and the local community. Natural regeneration of the bankside vegetation has taken place and the canal is now a haven for wildlife.
