The Abib Newborn Garden is one of four gardens operated and run by the City Parks Foundation. The Learning Gardens Program works with schools in the area and provide classes with a unique outdoor classroom experience where students can gain a hands-on experience to understand where food comes from and how urban ecosystems function. This garden also functions as a community garden by bringing neighbors together to till the earth, sow seeds, and build their community. The garden functions year-round and is a National Wildlife Federation Certified Wildlife Habitat.
