Blue Heron Park Preserve
Overview
The Blue Heron Park Preserve has loads to offer. It has a Nature Center, opened in 1998; the Center has classrooms and a library where visitors can read up on the flora and fauna that thrive in the New York area. It holds various art exhibits and tours. It is also a public bird feeding station. The Heron Park staffs are well versed in birds and bird watching and are usually on hand and happy to educate visitors about what they’re seeing.
