Description of resource: It is a part of New York Public Library and it is a huge building with five floors. It has two entrance and lots windows.
History of resource: One building was built to be used as the library, and the other was to be a dispensary. In 1897, the three-story building was given a side extension and in 1929 a one-story extension. In 1951, the elevator shaft within the dispensary was altered. And the building date is back to 1884.
