The plant processes and provides water to the villages.
Ground breaking and construction of the plant occurred Oct. 25, 1994 with completion and plant start-up March 7, 1996. The cost of the production plant, auxiliary generator, two wells, one million-gallon ground storage tank, 200,000-gallon elevated storage tank and approximately 22 miles of distribution pipe totaled $6.4 million.
