Overview
The Anchorage is an example of architecture depicting Colonial Revival development. Designed by architect Francis Welson, The Anchorage was built in 1930, modeled after the Byrd plantation of "Westover" in Virginia is a splendid example of Georgian Revival architecture.
This home listed by the National Register of Historic Places since July 1, 1988 and on the New Jersey Register of Historic Places since September 29, 1986.
