楊厝弘農堂與弘農休閒公園
Overview
楊厝祖先在1633年，八世祖志武公渡海來台，從鹿港登陸後，到員林大饒里墾拓有成，再遷居新館，遷台的時間證明比鄭成功早，是唯一在明末入墾埔心且世居的家族。楊姓祖先是周朝宣王之子尚父，封為楊侯，自此子孫以楊為姓，因在河南弘農發展為當地的望族，後代便以『弘農』為郡號，傳世至今。
弘農休閒公園的所在地原本是三合院的前亭，經過了社區志工的整頓，搭起木架，植入草皮、花卉，種植遮陰的喬木後，煥然一新，美不勝收，現在變成了村中長輩們休憩聊天的去處。
