Peirce Hall
Overview
Peirce, Kenyon's dining hall, employs a composting system that allows for increased recycling and local foods. The system, according to the Kenyon website, "shreds, dehydrates, layers, turns, and mixes the waste to create the best possible compost in the shortest period of time." The system also allows the dining hall to reuse water, which is filtered through pipes. Peirce serves as a gathering spot for Kenyon students and, like the rest of the buildings on campus, has Wi-Fi accessibility.
