Bell Book & Candle

Overview
A charming American restaurant in West Village that gets most of the produce for its seasonal fare from a roof garden. This lovely eatery has food program that revolves around local, organic, sustainable and overall responsible acquiring. The menu cycles are seasonal and depend on the production from the aeroponic(process of growing plants in an air or mist environment without the use of soil) roof-top tower garden. The garden generates enough fruits and vegetable for the 80 seat capacity restaurant. The vegetables grow in water, faster and without the threat of many of the diseases and pests associated with growing plants in soil. This is a great dining experience for tourists and locals looking for delicious organic seasonal American food in a cozy atmosphere.
