Why by bike?

It is the fastest & efficient way to get around town.
Madison, WI has some of the best bike routes in the country.
-access to bike racks on buses
-lets you to class / work faster
-less traffic
-physically great for your body
-5-10 minutes on a path, you're outside of downtown

Appreciation for your city
-there is a lot this city has to offer more than just football games & state st.
-explore the lush geography of the city
-willy and monroe streets (to name a few) ofer a different side to madison

We are a complete service shop. We emphasize the idea of reusing as well as recycling bikes. If your bike can be fixed, we will never persuade (unlesss really necessary) you to purchase a new one. Most of the bikes that we build / sell have a mix of recycled and new parts. However, if you do want that slick new ride, we are a dealer of Surly, Bianchi, Soma, Euro Asia, and Kona products just to name a few.

We can build a new or reconstruct your bike to fit your needs: different handle bars, singlespeed/fixed gear it, fenders, modern/light components; we can do it all!!

If anything, we just want you to get on a bike. Make it a big part of your life and most definitely just have you enjoy riding around. Madison is a fantastic city laced with miles of paths through and outside the city. Take advantage of it, save hundred of dollars, meet a ton of people, and actually get excersize without even trying.

If you'd prefer a shop that will give you the time of day instead of trying to sell you something, if you don't like the 'gap' like feel of other shops, if you want to support local business, if you want to have a laugh, good conversation, or even a beer, come over to the east side and give us a visit. Thanks for taking the time to check us out, hope to see you soon!
