O Parque "Maria Barbosa Silva" - o Parque das Águas - oferece um dos maiores palcos ao ar livre da cidade, ciclovia, anfiteatro de arena, playground, pista de skate, circuito infantil, lago central com fontes, área verde com gramado, árvores, plantas, flores e arbustos, pista de caminhada, deque de madeira, bancos, sanitários, campos de futebol, quadra poliesportiva e um Núcleo de Segurança Comunitária da Guarda Civil Municipal, com funcionamento 24 horas. Nele podem ser observados com frequência espécies como Frango-d'água-comum (Gallinula galeata), Vira-bosta (Molothrus bonariensis), Caminheiro-zumbidor (Anthus lutescens), Biguá (Phalacrocorax brasilianus), Savacu (Nycticorax nycticorax), Garça-moura (Ardea cocoi), Garça-branca-grande (Ardea alba), Garça-pequena (Egretta thula), entre outros.
