The Washington Oak is a white oak that dates to the Revolutionary War, and is named after George Washington. The oak on the southern perimeter of a 19 acre open space parcel located between Route 206 and the Washington Oaks housing development. The oak can be seen at the rear of the Niel Ct. cul-de-sac, off of Benjamin Rush Lane, within the housing development.
